Truth...not so..LIe
I have a friend named Arra. One day, we decided to have lunch at the mall. We ordered a whole lot of food and ate most of it until we were too full to function. As we were strolling trying to walk out all the food, she complained that her stomach was in pain. All of a sudden, she vomited and passed out.
Truth...not so..LIe
I read a book called "Lullaby" once. It is by one of my favorite writers, Chuck Palahniuk. I tried reading it again the other day, but I found that the book was misplaced. I didn't bother to look deeper into it,but then as I was flipping through a magazine later that afternoon, I blinked once and the magazine I was reading turned into the book. :o
Truth...not so..LIe
I had gone to the beach this weekend with a couple of my friends. It was a really relaxing trip. We ate a ton and laughed our asses off at the most ridiculous things, and then we got news that an earthquake had hit in Chile, and that we were to be extra careful and take precaution. Early morning on Sunday, we got up to the sound of the wind thrashng and of waves crashing. When we looked out, the houses below us were submerged in water. Thank the Lord our place was high up.

Artist date#5
For my fifth artist date, I decided to try this drink called "wheat grass". It supposedly helps cleanse the body and is good for constipation. I mixed the green powder with water and as a result I had this nasty looking glass of green gooey liquid. I was not excited, but when I drank it, it was actually good. I wouldn't say I felt "clean" afterwards, but it was a different experience. I wouldn't drink it though.
The secret life of the pen
The pen was made like all the other pens, and its dream is to be different. Sad but true, this will never happen to it, for like all the other pens, its sole purpose in life is to help humans write, doodle, or draw what they wish. So, the pen just lives vicariously through its owner. Learning from what is written until it dies.
The secret life of the journal
The journal loves to be filled with adventures and everyday events of its owner. Each day is a new adventure and the more colorful its owner colors the pages, the happier it gets.
The secret life of the pillow
Soft and fluffy, the pillow loves to be hugged by its owner. It loves to be dressed in silk sheets just like a woman in the best couture.
The secret life of the bag
The bag is a necessity for most, if not all women. It carries a woman's things that are important to her for everyday activities. The bag sits among the other bags wishing to be chosen for the day. The bag loves it when it is chosen and gets to go about the town seeing places and people other than just hanging on the rack.
The secret life of the world politics book
The world politics book has been through generations of families and has contributed to the expansion of knowledge of those in need. It contains most of what the world has gone through in terms of politics, mostly the significant events. When the book is not in use, it quietly sits and waits as days go by until the next user.
The secret life of a laptop
The laptop sits quietly wherever it is left until someone decides to use it. The laptop loves to stay quiet and recharge itself so that it will be equipped with enough power and knowledge to help its user.

Artist date#4
I decided to look through a bunch of old letters stored in two big boxes in my room. It was very nostalgic to read and reminisce. My memory of things that happened before was refreshed and I found myself actually laughing out loud at the stupidity of my friends and I.
The last time I...
took a math subject was in high-school. i had to drop my comalge during my first term in college cause it conflicted with my training and I haven't enrolled in a math subject since.
The last time I...
failed a subject in college was the first time I did and I was not very happy. I slacked off because my team and I were gone for ten days to join a tournament and I did not bother to follow up with my professor.
The first time I..
blogged, I was not at all excited. I really am not a fan of blogging. It is a good thing that we are given instructions on what to blog every week or else this blog of mine would be empty.

The first time I..
I watched "The Beach" I instantly fell in-love with it and when I was introduced to the book, I fell even more in-love:)
The first time I..
drove I was very nervous and I was almost instantaneously turned off by driving. I never really enjoyed it and had the patience to learn. I guess that explains that until this day I don't have a license, but I promised myself I would give it another try and attain my license before I turn 20:)
Artist date#3
I used to be addicted to drawing when I was younger, but for the past years I haven't been able to do so. I decided to take out an old sketch pad, go to the village park with my ipod and just start doodling. I only lasted about an hour before I decided to go home. I wouldn't say I got to draw anything great, but the fact that I was bale to draw again triggered my love for doodling once more.
Blooog
I never..blogged before. First, I really don't enjoy computers. I still enjoy and prefer writing on paper and I am not a very techie person so to speak. Second, blogging is so stressful. Lastly, I like to keep things to myself.
Wine
Every wine has it;s own scent, but no matter what wine it is when someone mentions drinking wine alone, I am reminded of the one random night I spent at home locked in my room with a bottle of red wine and a tray of sashimi, my favorite! This memory would've been a perfect artist date if had not happened yet:)
Mustard
The weird smell of mustard always reminds me of a trip to Sweden with my friends wherein we competed for the Gothia cup. I am reminded of the trip because i would literally eat at least one chorizo hotdog with tons of spicy European mustard every day! I loved the mustard so much that I tried looking for it here in the Philippines, unfortunately we don't carry the brand.
Lavander
Lavander baby powder specifically. I Just love how it smells. I use it every night before going to bed and during the day. It is best when it is a hot day. It instantly refreshes me. I am reminded of when i would play for long hours when I was younger and my yaya would get mad at me for sweating a lot and she would put so much powder on me that i would look like an espasol.
Butter
Ahh the smell of butter. It evokes a lot of memories, but a particularly favorite one of mine is eating butter popcorn with double extra butter at the movies with my brothers when I was younger. We would always watch the latest movies that were out and I'll always tag along.

Artist date#2
For my second artist date, I decided to just stay in on a Sunday and watch a foreign film. I decide on Volver, a Spanish film starring the striking and one of my personal favorites, Penelope Cruz. It is directed by Pedro Almodovar. It is not at all new to me to watch foreign films, but it was a new experience this time because I can somewhat speak Spanish since I have been taking it for the past four terms. I decided not put subtitles and man was I in for the biggest headache of my life. I kept on rewinding the movie because they spoke too fast for me to understand and most of the time I did not understand the words at all. Even with me lost in translation, the visual aspect allowed for me to keep up with the movie, and when I watched it again recently, this time with subtitles, I found that I pretty much understood it. Just a few tweaks here and there:) It was a humbling experience.
Carabao s**t!
Every time I sniff this ever so pungent aroma I am reminded of the time my whole family and I including all my first cousins went on a trip to Cabadbaran in Mindanao. It was a whole lot of fun! We swung from ropes into the cold river, we hung out and relaxed by and in the waterfalls, and we hopped from one beach to another. There was this one instance that we were walking for so long and my cousins and I grew tired, s we asked the man with the carabao if we could ride his wagon. He was kind enough to allow us, but the smell was horrible because just like horse drawn carriages, the feces f the carabao was caught by the sack where they put uncooked rice in.

Artist date #1
I spoke of this in class and realized after that I was supposed to do the artist date alone, but anyway for my first attempt I went to the restaurant Friday's to have my usual Saturday night dessert with my friends. For so long I would get my favorite oreo madness, but then I thought about it and decided to purchase and try the double fudge brownie overload. Man was I in for a surprise. It was three layers a thick fudge brownies topped with creamy vanilla ice cream, chocolate and caramel syrup. The picture on the menu did not do the dessert any justice. I realized after I polished off the plate that it was a good idea to try something new. At least now I have options when I get dessert some other time.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Cookies are and always have been my weakness, so whenever the scent of cookie dough wafts by me, my stomach churns and I am immediately reminded of the last time I had a cookie. It doesn't necessarily take me back far into the past because I still have cookies regularly and what usually results in it is that once I start munching on them especially with my friends, we start to reminisce about the unforgetable cookies we've had in the past. I have noticed that the one cookie that is always brought up is the cookie skillet from Tony Roma's. The soft baked cookie with chocolate chips oozing out topped with a scoop of thick white vanilla ice cream and viscous chocolate syrup. Just talking about it now makes me want to eat it again.
